Rotary Under Lever Double Barrelled Hammer Rifle, 28 1/2 inch black powder barrels with blued finish, Excellent Henry patent rifling, broad raised matt rib with open sights and two folding leaf sights (modified) , bead fore sight, detachable brass muzzle protector. Jones patent rotary under lever, with carved percussion fences, rebounding back action locks with ornate hammers, fine crosshatch and beaded border and acanthus scroll engraving surrounding vignettes of wild game, including lion, tiger, stag and buffalo. Bright finish overall, 13 3/4" figured semi pistol grips stock with checkered borders, sling eyes and partially engraved steel butt plate. Fore-end with Deeley & Edge patent release catch and horn finial.
