Colt Single Action Army fitted with a 4 3/4 inch two-line address barrel, checkered Rampant Colt hard rubber grips, color case-hardened finshed frame and hammer, blue finished barrel, ejector rod housing, back-strap, trigger guard and small parts, and chambered in .38 W.C.F. (.38-40). This 1920 vintage Single Action Army revolver is in excellent original condition, retaining 85% blue on the barrel, 75% blue on the ejector rod housing, 60% blue on the cylinder, and 85% blue on the trigger guard and back-strap. The frame retains 70% original faded color case-hardening and the hammer about 95%. The bore is bright with sharp rifling, though there is a ring of minor corrosion, mid-way down the barrel. The action functions perfectly, with a tight lock-up on all 6 cylinders. This gun is all numbers matching, including the cylinder and grips, though I believe both grips are off another gun and have been re-numbered.
