Description:
This is a real high condition Contender pistol with two SUPER 14 barrels, chambered for 22LR, and 30-30 Winchester. The
30-30 barrel has a Japan produced 2X Simmons pistol scope, with extended eye relief, and clear duplex optics. This is a pistol built in 1974, which was 8 years into the production of these high quality firearms. Both barrels are in fantastic condition, with strong rifling, and deep original blue finish. I do not have the rear sight for the scope mounted barrel, nor any boxes. The frame is also in near new condition, with only a couple blems, one at the base of the grip (pictured), and a small amount of blue loss at the hinge point. Not bad for 36 years old. It has the 3 position safety on top of the hammer, to switch from center fire, to rim fire, with safe position in the center.
