Description:
This is an exceptional rifle in a very uncommon chambering. The bluing on this piece appears to be Carbonia Blue and is truley striking.
The Monte Carlo style walnut stock has a beautifuly executed cheek rest which mirrors the grain; wrap around checkering on the fore end; and has what appers to be an ebony fore end cap. There is a small check in the end cap on the right side which appears in photo #14. While this fine rifle has seen field use the checkering is crisp, clean and intact and the wood and metal are in great shape.
The included Noske 3x scope has crip clear glass, a tapered post and is secured in an, I've been told, a mount which is also by Noske though it is unmarked. The mount was likely a factory installation.
This rifle presents a truely elegant appearance with wood, optic, and metal; is mechanically sound and the bore is excellent.
