New, finest collector quality... rarely to come to market....USFA 45LC, one piece wood grips.....this is a last year production USFA highly desireable Pre-War model. It also comes with a spare 45LC cylinder (Note: Both cylinders are 45LC).....In addition to the 1st Gen style hammer, the Pre-War models came with Armory Bluing rather than dome blue. Usually that Armory Bluing offered less sheen, softer almost grayish color....not this one.... but it is Armory Bluing with a high sheen as requested by the original purchaser. The high sheen was not attained by special oil and charcoal process but by the prep work. The low sheen was attained by a wire wheeled process before going into the oven. If you wanted the high sheen, the wire wheel process was eliminated. This is the first and only high sheen Pre-War Armory blued USFA I've ever seen. It comes with outer cardboard sleeve, black box, cloth sleeve, literature, and spare cylinder black box.
