FROM MY PERSONAL COLLECTION SAVAGE 99 EG LEVER ACTION. MFG 1951 300 SAVAGE CALIBER. 24" tapered barrell ALL ORIGINAL, never tapped, no extra holes or screws. Original dark walnut ,checkered, oil rubbed finish stock, grip cap and original steel butt plate . no cracks or splits in wood. semi buckhorn sporting rear and marbles folding aperature sight. perfect never touched screws .perfect bore, very accurate. rifle has all original strong bluing and most case colors on lever. boss on lever is stamped 23C.Rifle has some hunting marks on stock ( as shown in pictures) Over all exceptionally clean gun for 69 years old. I got my buck this season with this. have a 1/2 box of cartridges to go with it.
