Here's a Marlin you won't see often. This is the " Original Golden 39-A".
Serial # 19251501,I think , made in late 50's or early 60's. This little 39-A
in one of the main reasons Marlin has earned the reputation of the smoothest, finest
lever action rifle ever made. This gun is over half a century old and is as smooth as silk.
I rate it as 99% condition inside and out. Mechanically perfect and looks superb.
It has excellent pop up iron sights and is ready for a scope if desired.
You're gonna absolutely love this rifle.
