For sale is a revered Colt Python Stainless steel double action revolver, chambered in.357 Magnum,
Smooth stainless finish, with a 6 inch barrel, 6-round capacity, and all Colt markings bright and visible.
This is a FLASHY gun with beautifully crafted laminate wood grips, you can just feel Colt's quality craftsmanship all over this big, powerful, classic revolver!
Cylinder swings open nicely, rotates and locks up as expected, nice rifling in bore, minor finish wear, scratches due to age and use. (see photos)
Colt's serial number database puts this as a 1990 production.
The Colt Python was first introduced in 1955 as Colt's top-of-the-line model and was originally intended to be a large-frame .38 Special target revolver. As a result, it features precision adjustable sights, a smooth trigger, solid construction, and extra metal. Pythons have a distinct appearance due to a full barrel underlug, ventilated rib and adjustable sights.
These snake guns are getting much harder to find on the market!
This is a Colt quality, classic stunning revolver that would be a great addition to any collectors safe, or take it out and put it to work at the range! This firearm was imported from Canada and bears a discreet import mark, as shown in the photos.
