Here we present a classic lever action Winchester Repeating Arms, Model 1895, CARBINE .30-06 caliber.

Manufactured in 1914, this rifle speaks of history and true Winchester quality. This rifle has a 22 inch barrel, and an overall length of 40 inches, 5 round capacity chambered in .30 GOVT .06 caliber.

The walnut wood is solid and still in good condition, there are notch marks in the stock that according to the owner were hunting marks for different types of animals shot and taken down with this rifle (see photos).

ore is very good with strong rifling, and action locks up tightly, especially for being 106 years old!

Overall an amazingly beautiful piece of history worth adding to your collection. This firearm was imported from Canada and bears a discreet import mark (see photos). Please feel free to contact us with any questions.

Quoted from WinchesterGuns:
  • It was designed by the legendary gun designer, John Moses Browning. He designed a number of great Winchesters such as the Model 1886 rifle, the Model 1885 Single Shot, the Model 1892 rifle, the 1897 shotgun, the Model 1890 rimfire and of course, the Model 1894 Winchester. The Model 1895 was the last John M. Browning design for Winchester. An important historical distinction is that the Model 1895 was designed and engineered to accommodate a new generation of military cartridges utilizing smokeless powder. Another significant feature was the innovative non-detachable  “box magazine.” This design made it possible to chamber in the revolution of more  powerful pointed bullets. Winchester was a tubular magazine company until the  Model 1895 came along. It was the first box magazine rifle developed by Winchester.
