Description:
The 300 Winchester magnum model 70's were only made one or two years before Winchester phased out all pre-64 model 70s.
That alone makes them one of the more scarce and sought after pre-64 model 70's. The stock on this one may have an added coat of finish. There is a small crack behind the bolt, probably someone removed the barreled action without removing the bolt first. The bolt handle catches on the thin piece of wood and this is the result. It is not critical, just unsightly. Easily repaired if it bothers you.
