All the original components with the obvious exception of the stunning and beautifully checkered walnut stock and fore arm are to be found on this classic example. This legendary rim-fire rifle retains it's original 24" octagon barrel with an outstanding shiny bore and crisp undamaged exterior markings and edges as produced by the factory in 1919. Time consuming preparation that is rarely found these days is the key to accurately replicating the traditional deep rust blue finish seen on this rifle and as found on quality Winchester production from one hundred years ago. Details such as the logo and serial number on the straps and receiver illustrate the care and attention given this project when undertaken a few years back. Note also the tight margins of the wood to metal and correctly proud as Winchester was famous for. No disappointments.
