Payment Types Accepted: Postal Money Order Description: This old 1893 Marlin is a rather special rifle with the extra length barrel, and chambered for the less encountered 38-55 cartridge. This rifle is in remarkable condition for a gun built in 1901, with an excellent bore, and better then average case color remaining. All the correct factory sights are intact, with clear script on all original finishes to the metal. The stocks are intact, with what appears to be a shallow dry fracture at the rear of the left side butt stock. I removed the crescent butt plate, and it appears only surface deep, and not lined up with the lower screw, nor is there any sign of a fracture on the other side (pictured). This gun has never been drilled and tapped for a scope, or had sling lugs added. The action works smoothly, and there are no dings or damage to the full length magazine tube. This 1893 is better then most seen for sale, and has the plus features of a special order, extra length barrel, and in 38-55. Prefered payment by Postal Money Orders, or other certified funds.
