This Springfield Armory U.S. Model 1884 is a United States Military single shot trapdoor breech loading hinged breech block rifle in .45-70 Gov't Cal. It has a 32 inch barrel. A short blade front sight and a Buffington rear sight. The butt stock is a smooth grip walnut straight grip with a checkered steel finger stop grip. The forearm is a smooth grip walnut with barrel bands. The trigger is grooved. It comes with a leather sling. .45-70 Government

Metal Condition: "Good with patina, freckling and minor handling / use marks.
Wood Condition: Fair. Multiple handling marks. Small fine crack both sides of butt stock at butt plate about 1 1/4 inch down from the top.
Bore Condition: Good with some minor pitting.
Barrels: 32 inch.
Triggers: Grooved.
Stock Dimensions:
