This Winchester was produced in 1883. The rifle's serial number is 129320. It is fitted with a 44 W.C.F. half round barrel. Two XX fancy wood with pistol grip stock. Shotgun smooth blued steel butt plate. Button magazine and color cased finish. The color cased finish retains almost all of the muted color finish. The forend cap retains all of the color cased finish. The hammer also retains all of the color cased finish. The lever has strong finish in protected areas. The dust cover and butt plate have the original bluing intact. The stock and forend retain all of the original finish. The loading gate retains the nitre blued finish. The bore is in near new condition. The original barrel blue would rate a 96% and better. The original sights are intact with the addition of a Lyman heavy base tang sight with detachable sight post. The action is in near new condition! The bronze carrier does not have the raised dent on the base from rapid shooting. This rifle was very well cared for. The factory letter states that this rifle was shipped from the warehouse on August 7th 1883 to order number 6015. This Winchester has survived in amazing original stunning condition!
