WW1 IMPERIAL GERMAN MAUSER GEWEHR 98 GEW98 SNIPER RIFLE WITH SCOPE AND CLAW MOUNTS. 8x57 Mauser cal. All original and matching (60xx serial range) including the bolt with safety catch one number off. Excellent overall with all the correct Imperial German Ordnance inspection stamps. Retains most of the original blue finish with light use. Stock and matching handguard with all the original finish and with German Ordnance stamps on the right side of the butt stock. Stock and butt plate serial numbered to the gun. Working order and fine borre. Original military claw mounts and military dull green finish scope stamped on eyepiece “VOIGHTLANDER/BRAUNSCHWEIG”. Optics excellent. Very rare. No import marks.
