Description:
This is an excellent plus condition U.S. 1863 Civil War 58 caliber percussion rifle. It has a 40” barrel and the lock and barrel dates are 1864. The lock retains 99% case colors with excellent mechanical function and excellent bore. This rife is over 98% original wood and metal finish. The left side retains two very nice Inspector Cartouches. This fantastic condition Springfield Musket must have not ever been issued but stayed in the Arsenal. I would consider trades for pre 1899 ANTIQUE PISTOLS and rifles on any of my items..
