SOLD A more recent made British Officers Sea service flintlock pistol is very good condition.with markings of Japan 993, and the metal is in the white.. The octagonal barrel is about 9" long with a .68 caliber smooth bore, a more effective shot when the bore is filled with nails and other metal objects when boarding an enemy ship. Used almost like a scatter guns when the opposing crew approaches you after boading and they are close together. A Super shower of sparks from the frizzen. Gun measures about 15" overall.. The hardwood is very good finish and has a few handling marks and some wear up near the barrel tang. When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting.
