Built Jan 1952 standard grade model 70. Purchased 20 years ago from collector less than 20 rounds fired thru rifle. All original wood metal ,not a reblue or refinished stock. Nice dark walnut with original finish no dents or chips in stock. All action screws as new no gouged up action screws. Steel buttplate is mint. Lyman flip up factory installed rear site Lyman peep reciever sight, hooded front site. Action is tight trigger original no after market parts or work done to rifle. Great example of the standard grade Pre 64. Classic 30/06 caliber.
