Cased pair of Philadelphia style flintlock Derringers fitted with 3 1/8 inch octagon barrels, ramrods, checkered walnut grips/stocks, flintlock actions, and are .45 caliber smooth bore. The barrels are Belgium proofed and have a slight hour glass design, neither the barrels, nor the locks are stamped with a makers name. The pistols are in fine conditon, with all metal surfaces having turned a silver/brown patina. The action works fine on one of the guns, the other appears to have a broken hammer spring. Bores are shootable and flash-holes are clean. The pistols come in an attractive wood presentation case, with key (lock does not work). The case is in fine condition, with assorted minor handling marks. A very attractive cased set of small flintlock pistols, I have never seen a set like this.
