Description: ON LAYAWAY THRU 1/20/21 Heavy ejector gun on extra wide action, with very early double underlug construction, all original and correct except for two replacement screws correctly engraved. Gun has been restored, including replacement of rear barrel underlug by Tig, rejointing (hook and underbolt engagement), rebrowning of (rather heavy) 30"x 2 3/4" damascus bbls now showing strong figure, repair and screw stabilization of now invisible wrist crack, refinishing and recheckering of original wood, and disassy/clean/lube of action. Action is silver with clear engraving, some scratching no pitting. Bbls are both .750/705 ie XF with clean but not perfect bores, walls circa .060. Top rib has two small dings. SN 10500x. 8 lbs, 13 7/8" LOP through original plate, 1 3/4" and 3" drops. I believe this is one of the first made and quite rare in this configuration. SOLD Antique: Yes |
