1894 TAKEDOWN .32-20 OCTAGON RIFLE WITH FULL MAGAZINE, #209XXX, MADE 1900. A nice example with fine deep barrel blue. Good mag blue mixing with some brown. Uncleaned dark receiver with traces of case color in the more protected areas. This one obviously had a tang sight on at one time as the two mounting screws are in the factory holes in the upper tang and there is vivid case color where the sight was mounted. The rear barrel sight is the original buckhorn and the front is a folding globe Beach sight. All markings are correct and the takedown is tight. Stock and forearm are fine and show only light normal handling. The bore is a little dark, but not pitted and has fine rifling all the way through. Takedown 1894s are hard to find.
