Description:
An English 8 bore hammer gun signed J.Gordon with no address. The gun has 32" laminated steel barrels with excellent bores. The gun retains around 50% of the case colors and 95% of the original wood finish.The barrels lock up tightly to the action with no play. Nicely engraved with English scroll.The barrels have excellent wall thickness with a minimum of .036" near the bore and .075" in front of the chambers. Built in the late 1880s or early 1890s. Excellent condition for its age. Classified as an antique so it can be shipped direct.
