Patterned after the classic Churchill XXV Boxlock Ejector Game Gun. Features 25" chopper lump steel barrels with a raised file cut Churchill top rib, front silver bead sight and gold inlaid AYA at the breech end, and barrels are choked mod. & i.c. and have 2 3/4" chambers. The boxlock action features a gorgeous color case hardened receiver and is profusely engraved with special Churchill XXV pattern, itoperates with ejectors, single selective trigger andautomatic-resetting safety.To complete this nice light double gun is an attractive, contrasting straight-grain oil finished walnut stock with a blank initial plate, Pachmayr Old English recoil pad and a splinter forend with a push button release.Condition:Unfortnately we received shotgun damagedin shipping with a large and small ding (next to each other)in the right barrel, and a small ding in the left barrel (seethe last2 photos, 12& 13), and there arenumerous scratches and dings in the butt-stock (photos 10 & 11). Apart from the shippingdamage, the barrels have full blue coverage with but a few small scratches; the action retains a great amount of its original cased colors and all of itsintrigateengraving, and the action lock up is tightand the release lever isto the right of center. Besides the scratches and dings mentioned earlier in the butt-stock wood, there are no cracks in the wood and the forend wood is scratch and ding free.
