Description:
This is a very sharp, late-war (1945 production), "ac45"-coded Walther P.38. This is a "b" letter block pistol from the February 1945 production, just 3 months before the war ended. This pistol is fitted with the very rare Durafol grips, which are a primitive type of mottled plastic that resembles wood. They are seldom seen.

The pistol has the rare late war cog hammer and a phosphate trigger and the bore is mint. 1945-dated P.38’s are harder to find simply for the fact that they were in production for less than 6 months. This is just a spectacular assemblage of late war features that would fit perfectly into any P.38 collection.

This Pistol also has a letter from the veteran of Company B of the 22nd Tank Battalion who confiscated the pistol.
