Description:
Serial #DG459145, 12 GA (2 3/4"), 27 1/2" barrels choked skeet/skeet with bright, excellent bores. This is the Winchester Model 101 Diamond grade Skeet shotgun manufactured in Japan featuring ported, skeet bored, raised vent rib ported barrels, select hand checkered walnut stock and engraved satin-finish receiver. The gun is in excellent 98-99% condition with virtually all of the original blue finish on the barrels and only a tiny ding under the bottom tube about 5" below the porting likewise the receiver, lever and trigger guard retain the original finish with several very light use marks with a darker patina on the metal release plate of the forearm. The gold plated trigger also retains much of the original finish. The stock has a 14 1/4" LOP with a drop 1 1/4" at Comb and1 3/4" at the heel. The select walnut forearm is in excellent condition with several minor handling blemishes in the high gloss finish. The stock is likewise excellent with some overall light use marks, a 1/4" surface crack in the right side of the wrist just behind the trigger that looks to be just surface deep as are the four longer radial lines below the comb. The original Winchester cardboard box is included. Overall an excellent Diamond grade Skeet gun. FFL
