Description:
Serial #416904, 7.65mm (.32 ACP), 3 1/4" barrel with a very good bore that is lightly frosted with strong rifling. This is a rare, matching number, early 1936 production Italian Air Force Model 1935 made in Italy and is from the first contract with the rare “TP" inspector marking. The frame retains most of the original high polish blue with a crisp Italian Air Force Eagle below crown marking and inspector mark with finish loss on the high points and edges. The slide is toned plum with perhaps 50% finish. The steel backed black synthetic grips grips are very good and mostly smooth with a low wear spot on the right panel edge. The gun comes with an original single magazine. The slide is marked with the year, Fascist Roman numeral date and model which was only applied to the first few thousand Air Force pistols. A rare early gun as many went down with the air crews. FFL or C&R
