Description:
Serial #N251703, .357 Magnum, 4 inch barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This pinned and recessed revolver retains 97-98% of the original dull blue finish with some mild silvering at the muzzle, and along some of the edges and as well as a minor turn-ring on the cylinder. The barrel has acquired a slight plum hue over time (but the blue is factory original), while the hammer and trigger retain a commensurate amount of their original color case-hardening. The revolver has correct grips (numbered to a different gun on the interior), that are in fine shape with only mild flattening of the points. The revolver is housed in its original two-piece, S&W (Bangor Punta) box with papers; the revolver's lock-up is firm, with the action functioning flawlessly. This is a great example of a pinned and recessed, N-frame S&W, and would make a great addition to a collection. FFL
