Description:
Winchester Model 1892 .25-20 WCF lever action rifle, dated to 1906. This rifle features the iconic Browning designed Winchester 1892 lever action mechanism, with a rifle length octagonal barrel, full length magazine tube, with walnut furniture. The rifle is in great functional order with a smooth, tight action, with some signs of age and use present, as shown in the photos. That being said, some areas of the rifle still show the original blueing, such as the magazine tube and the barrel. The half cock and full cock functions are fully operable, as is the trigger assembly. The bore has some mild pitting in areas, shown in the photos, however much of the rifling is still sharp and smooth. Please refer to the photos to further assess the condition of the rifle. This Winchester 92 is a fine example of the classic lever gun, and appears to have been well cared for over the last century, while also appearing to be a well loved hunting tool. This rifle would be a fine addition to any Winchester lovers' collection! C&R OK.
