This is a very rare gun. The fist of the 1949 batch of guns.The #4 Mk 2 evolved from the No #1 Mk III SMLE ( often referred to as the "Smelly" of WW1 fame. This is a gun made in December of 1949 and a first sires gun. This same gun is for sell in Europe for 3500.00 US
