****SALE PENDING****This is an extraordinarily nice Savage 99EG. The stock and Schnabel forearm are checkered walnut with plastic grip cap, corrugated steel butt plate and quick detachable sling studs. The 24” barrel and receiver are rich blue with nice case colors in the lever, integral front sight base, and Redfield receiver sight with adjustable iris. This 99EG was manufactured in 1951, and the Model 99EG was discontinued in 1959-60. It is the last Schnabel forearm produced until 1971, according to Royal’s book (Page 80). The Boss Code is 24C. Also of note is this rifle is one of an unknown number that has a case hardened steel magazine rotor. See the pictures for condition. Happy to talk, text or email any time.
