Description:
This Springfield Armory Model U.S. 1873 is a single shot breech loading trap door rifle in .45-70 Cal. It has a 32.5 inch barrel and smooth grip hardwood straight stock. Included with this rifle is a bayonet. It is the first standard issue breech loading rifle adopted by the U.S. Army. It was in service from 1873 to 1892. This rifle is in overall fair to good condition and comes as is. .45-70
