Description:
This revolver was originally a prewar S&W Outdoorsman chambered in .38 Special. It was sent in to Andy Horvath for a conversion to .44 Special. 6.5" barrel with a custom tall blade front sight pinned on. The rest of the gun is in original configuration other than the fantastic trigger job, which Andy is know for the reblue and color case on the hammer and trigger. The grips are absolutely killer and even though they end at the bottom of the grip frame, they are stunning and perfectly fit. I have no support for my pinkie, yet the gun feels stable in my hand because of the shape of these grips. The caliber markings on the barrel were not altered, so it still says.38 Special. The cylinder is turning plum. The custom case was built for this revolver and of course is included. $55 shipping to the lower 48, 3% surcharge for using a CC.
