 Fabbrica Armi Mario Abbiatico & Remo Salvinelli [FAMARS], Gardone Val Trompia, Brescia, Italy Jorema Model 12 gauge sidelock game gun built in 1983 with 70 cm. [27 1/2"] M/SK1 vent rib ejector barrels. Bores are as new measuring .727" top and bottom. Chokes measure .020" on the top and .004 on the bottom. Chambers are 2 3/4". Coin finished sidelock reeiver with full coverage of outstanding English style rose and scroll engraving by B. Goldani and signed. Trigger guard with a rolled edge on the right and original owners initials, "JEB", inlayed in gold. This very special gun is stocked in near exhibition Italian Walnut with a Prince of Wales grip. Both forend and buttstock with excellent color and contrast. LOP is 16 3/8" to a checkered butt. Cast off 3/8" for the right hand.  DAC - 1 7/16"   DAH - 2"   Weighs in at 7lb 11oz   It is cased in its factory leather trunk case with trade label and a full complement of accessories to include three piece cleaning rod with mop, brush, and jag, oil bottle, snap caps, and spare strikers and main springs.

 This is an Italian best gun that rivals any of the English best guns. It has engraving of the highest quality. Styling is classic and timeless. The first names of the craftsmen who built this gun are engraved on the barrel lug, Dante, Mario[Abbiatico], Poli, Tony, and Remo[Salvinelli]  It has been carefully hunted with the buttstock exhibiting very mild scattered dents and  dings. It has a long LOP but can be shortened. Barrel blue remains at 99%   The mechanics are 100% and flawless. A heritage piece for many future generations.
