Description:
Factory Engraved Colt House Pistol made circa 1874. It is estimated that only about 2150 guns were made in this model and very few were factory engraved. This one is serial number 7973 and it has the standard 2 5/8" barrel with a 5 shot cylinder chambered in .41 Rimfire short or long. The action functions perfectly and the bore is good. It has the cartridge block at the loading port which is missing on many of these. The factory applied markings are all crisp and clear. There is a nice amount of original blue remaining on the cylinder and hammer with traces on the barrel. The price includes insurance and direct shipping to the continental United States where legal.
