Description:
Scarce Factory Engraved Remington .32 caliber with factory ivory stocks. These derringers, known as the "New Repeating Pistol" and referred to by collectors as the "Remington Ring Trigger", were a 4 shot, double action, pepperbox  chambered in .32 caliber rimfire. This gun is serial number 23803 was made near to the end of production, probably around 1886-1888. The factory applied markings on each side of the barrel are clear and sharp. The action functions properly and the bores are in nice condition. The engraving has a finer patter than seen on many of these. The ivory stocks have a beautiful, mellow color, fit perfectly and have no chips. The small blade that strikes the rimfire cartridge is missing. The hammer rotates properly on each pull of the trigger. This one was originally full silver plated and there are traces of original silver plate remaining. The price includes insurance and direct shipping to the continental United States where legal. A three day inspection is offered with full refund if returned unfired in the same condition. Buyer to pay return shipping. Please let me know if you have any questions or need additional photos.
