Description:
This is a refurbished original Stevens Model 44 in .22 LR. This particular rifle was built between 1912 and 1915. It has a 24” half-octagonal barrel, with a bore in very good condition. The finish is in good condition, but has some wear on the octagonal section of the barrel. On the barrel is an elevation-adjustable open sight and a fixed front sight. The wood furniture is also in very good condition with the exception of the buttstock having two small dents. The receiver, hammer, and lever are beautifully color case hardened (recolored) with no dings or scratches. The screws in this firearm have all seen minimal wear as well. Length of pull is 13-½” and overall length is 40”. Our stock number is #A246. Will ship anywhere in the USA to your FFL, buyer pays freight and insurance.
