Description:
The Nagant M1895 revolver was designed by Leon Nagant of Belgium and was chambered for the proprietary 7.62x38mm R cartridge. This revolver featured a "gas seal" system in which the cylinder moved forward when the gun was cocked to close the gap between the chamber mouths and the barrel to provide a boost in muzzle velocity of the fired projectile. 7.62x38R
