Description:
Serial #435595, .455 Webley, 6" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a neat cut-away revolver that has retained 97-98% of an armory reapplied blue finish with areas of silvering on the high edges and projections, as well as at the muzzle. The revolver has crisp military markings while the checkered brown, hard rubber grips are in fine shape with only some minor flattening of the points, as well as a few minor scratches and handling blemishes. The lock-up is extremely tight, despite the fact that there is no latch spring present, and the mechanism functions flawlessly. The frame, barrel, and cylinder were relieved in many spots on either side to adequately expose the action and its workings. This is a fabulous looking Webley cut-away that would make a great addition to any collection. FFL or C&R
