ThisModel 1885Winder Musket is also know as a Model 87 Winder Musket andchamberedfor .22 Short. Wood is good showing few marksbut has been redone or restocked. Foregrip has a slight wobble. There are two hairline cracks behind the top tang about an inch long. Metal is good but has been reblued. Top tang has a very light "Flaming Ordnance" markwith initials "U" and "S" on either side. Bore is lightly frosted. Sling swivels remain in good shape! .22 Short
