EARLY CIVIL WAR REMINGTON NEW MODEL .44 CAL. PERCUSSION ARMY REVOLVER CIRCA 1862-3. 6 shot with 8” octagon barrel with E. Remington address without the “NEW MODEL” stamp typical of these early transition revolvers with Model 1861 ND NEW MODEL FEATURES. . Early nickel “cone” front sight. All original and matching in the 16,xxx serial range. All correct inspector’s markings including a faint cartouche on the base of the left grip. Very good plus to fine with even brown-blue patina mix overall. Original grips with old refinish. Excellent bore and perfect working order. Reasonably priced and all original.
