Description:
Made in 1916, this Winchester certainly looks like its been around for over 100 years. Finish is worn, but wood appears solid. Action works smooth, but it could use a good cleaning and lube. Bore is worn: visible rifling, complete from front to back, with light, even roughness from chamber to muzzle, no serious pitting. Estimate bore condition 60%. It'll shoot and spin a bullet, but I wouldn't expect too much accuracy. Chamber and bolt face look really good. This is almost certainly worth more parted-out, but we didn't have the heart...lots of good life left in it. A neat, old, un-messed-with Saddle Ring Carbine with honest patina and character.
