Description:
~Remington Model 12-C .22LR/L/S slide action rifle, dated to 1918. This rifle features the classic Remington slide action .22 design, with a takedown feature via a thumb screw on the left side of the receiver. This rifle also has a very unique feature; a threaded barrel attachment. The threaded unit appears to be permanently fitted, and has interrupted threads. The is most likely designed to fit a suppressor, perhaps an early Maxim suppressor of some kind. The rifle has various examples of wear and finish loss throughout, as shown in the photos, however the action is functional and tight, and though the bore has some wear, there's likely plenty of shooting life left. Please refer to the photos to further assess the condition. A wonderful addition to your Remington collection!
