Estate sale: The production of the Colt Model 1849 Pocket revolver in America commenced in 1850 and continued through to 1873. The items come in a box that appears to be made after the pistol. The action is smooth, and the firing pin lines up with the cylinder. All serial numbers (308899) are matching. The bluing is gone with usual wear for a pistol this old. The powder flask is damaged –the opening lever is broken.
