Description:
Caliber 45-60. This gun features a 28 inch full octagon barrel and a full length magazine tube. Original sights. Good bore with strong rifling. Checkered deluxe grade wood in very good condition showing wear to the checkering but still very sound and solid. Correct steel shotgun style buttplate. Very good mechanical condition. This is apparently a special order stock with additional drop, more than normal. Engraving is a game scene of a stag with a hunter behind a tree making his shot on one side. The other side is a running moose. The balance is a deep scroll engraving. There was only a few of these that were engraved. A very scarce gun
