Description:
Manufactured in 1896 and shipped to Simmons Hardware Company, St. Louis, MO. Nice antique SAA in .45 Colt with 4 3/4" barrel. Barrel and case harding color 90%, ejector rod cover 40%, cylinder 20%. Very little finish left on grip straps with one spot with very light pitting. Case color strong on hammer and loading shute. Bore is bright with good rifling and minor pitting. Grip are hard checked rubber with Rampant Colt on either side show very little wear if any. Pictures really don't do this gun justice. Locks up good and tight when cocked with tight cylinder. Overall gun is 65-70%. Early "blackpowder transition" Factory letter. Email for better pictures
