Description:
This M 1892 Winchester Carbine, in the most desirable .44 WCF caliber, has been beautifully restored to factory new appearance. The metal has been re-finished and re-stamped as needed including Color Case Hardening of the Hammer, Lever, Butt Plate, and the wood has been replaced. The bore is well worn, showing it's age but shootable. This is not a Camp Perry target rifle, but a collectable so I think the bore is acceptable.
Some conflicting information has been uncovered about date of Mfg. Three different Serial number tables have been found that list the Manufacturing date as 1892, first year of production.
A Cody Museum letter indicates that the serial number was applied on May 20, 1893, and that it shipped on Aug. 7 1893. Documents and information will be provided to the buyer.
This is a nice Carbine for your Winchester collection. You can experience what it must have felt like to walk out of your local general store with the brand new Winchester you have been saving for.

SHIPPING:
Normally shipments are made via U.S.P.S. Priority Mail, Insured, with Signature required. Packing, Shipping and Insurance cost for this Long Gun is $45.00.

RETURNS:
Returns must be made within 3 days of receipt. They must be received in exactly the same condition with no parts exchanged. If it has been altered, damaged, or fired, a refund will not be made. Packing, shipping and insurance cost will not be refunded. All layaway purchases are returnable for merchandise credit only.
PAYMENT:
Bank check, Personal check, and Money Orders are preferred. Visa and MasterCard are accepted with a 3% processing fee. For Visa and MasterCard orders please provide the account number, code number, expiration date, name on card, phone number and card billing address. This information can be phoned in, or E-Mailed. All orders must be paid in advance, C.O.D. orders are not accepted. Checks, both Bank and Personal must clear before the order will be shipped, usually a 2 week delay.
LAYAWAYS:
A 20% deposit is required. Balance is due in 60 days. Deposits are non-refundable and are forfeited after 60 days. Layaway sales are returnable for merchandise credit only.
SALES TAX:
Pennsylvania state sales tax is 6% for in state purchases. The payment of other states sales tax, if applicable, for shipped items is the buyers responsibility.
