This Springfield Garand was mfg abt 2/42 with a serial number of 504XXX, It has some actual wartime replacement parts - barrel is a 1945.
The gray parkerizing is a consistant contrast throughout. it has an National Match Operating Rod (About $ 3-400 minimum. these are sought
after by shooters for their durability and asisting in accutacy). The action is very tight and it cycles normally.. The bore has a distinct twist and
measures a "1", The throat is a "1" also. There are no arsenal mafkings. The component parts are all Wartime to early PW Springfield.
The sling , Oil Kit and cleaning tools are included.
