Description:
Bought this one used online 10 years ago, fired for sight-in, put up ever since. IMO, must have been used by original owner on coastal hunt, as barrel has moderate amount fine external pitting. Stock had minor dings plus one small deep gouge on grip. All defects carefully included in photos. Receiver, internals, throat, riflings, bolt, bottom metal, etc., are all excellent. I would rate this one NRA Good, 60-80% - I am overcritical, and insist on being totally accurate/honest with my descriptions.
Not many produced in this caliber. Sauer 90 is IMO nicer than Colt Sauer - better safety, higher grade wood and finish, nicer trigger. Both included cocking indicator, loaded chamber indicator. Without doubt, the smoothest bolt action ever made, period. Includes mounts. Single stack removable magazine.
