Purdey double rifle made in 1857 for Sir Thomas Gresley as a muzzleloading 40 BORE Express double rifle. Converted later to a .500 Jones underlever breechloader. Two groove damascus barrels. Locks work fine, right lock missing the stocking safety and rear express sight missing. Left bore and chamber are fair, right chamber and rear of right barrel are buggered up. I bought this many years ago and the only thing I have done was send it to have a crack in the stock repaired by a stock maker. I planned on having it sleeved with smaller bore barrels such as a 32/20. Age dictates I'll never finish it.
