Circa 1850 Kentucky smooth bore buck and ball muzzleloader approximately 58-60 caliber. Full length wood stock (maple I think) is good but has a chip in front of the lock (see photo). 34.5 inch smooth bore round barrel has a dark brown patina and scattered pitting mainly near the breech. The unmarked lock works at full and half cock and has a dark patina also. All other metal parts are brass and half a light brown patina. Total length is approximately 50 inches.
